Quote Automation Call Answering FAQ Contact Book a demo
Built for oilfield & industrial service and supply companies

Every quote out the door in minutes.

A job request lands as a text, an email, or a call. Axle turns it into an approved, inventory- and price-checked proposal in your exact template, from your own price book. Minutes, not days.

The demo line is answered by AI and calls are recorded. A real priced quote lands in your texts about a minute after you hang up. How it works

The old way

The bid crosses six desks. The customer doesn't wait.

The email The ERP screen The rate sheet The supplier call The Word template Three days later

Every quote runs that chain, and it waits on your busiest people: the estimator with a backlog, the manager who knows the pricing, the one person who remembers what you bid last time. The backlog grows while the customer shops.

"If you can't turn around a quote fast enough... they call on Monday and it's Thursday... you just get like, oh yeah, we bought it."

The Axle way

One request in. One approved proposal out.

1

Take it in, any format

Forward the email, drop in the texts and photos from the field, upload the PDF, or give your techs and customers a number Axle answers. The original request stays attached to the quote, so nothing gets lost in translation.

2

It scopes the job from your history

Axle pulls your closest past jobs and proposes the assembly: parts, quantities, labor, logistics. The judgment your best estimator carries around shows up on every draft, whether or not he's in the office.

3

It prices with receipts

Every line traces to a source: your price book, live stock from your inventory data, a supplier quote with a date on it. If Axle doesn't know a number, it asks. It never makes one up.

4

Out the door as your documents

The finished bid in your format, whether that's a BOM and proposal, a quote sheet, or a one-page estimate, in your exact template. Buyers see the same paperwork you've always sent, just sooner. A person approves before it sends, or your rules do.

5

It learns from what you actually send

Upload the final you sent the customer and Axle compares it to its own draft, line by line, and gets better. Price corrections queue for a human click. It never changes your pricing on its own.

Trust

Numbers you can stand behind. A price book that can't quit.

Never invents a price

Every number comes from your price book, your inventory data, a past job, or a dated supplier quote, and the quote shows which. Missing a number? It asks instead of guessing.

Approval before send

A person signs off on every bid, or you set the rules for what goes out on its own. Margin rules and approval thresholds are configured per customer.

Everything on the record

Every draft, every edit, every send is versioned and logged. When a customer calls about a quote from March, you have the whole story.

The whole price book lives in one head.

At one services company we interviewed, all of it, the assemblies, the aliases, the customer-specific pricing, the exceptions, sat with a single VP of business development. Thirty years of pricing walks out the door every time someone like him retires.

Axle moves that judgment into a system your whole shop can use. The new hire quotes like the veteran. Institutional memory, institutionalized.

Hear it yourself

Get a real quote out of it before we ever talk.

The demo line answers as Axle Supply, a fictional parts house stocked with instrumentation and electrical parts. Ask for a few parts the way a tech would at the counter. About a minute after you hang up, a finished, priced PDF quote lands in your texts.

(830) 396-6361
Try"I need two 3051 DP transmitters, zero to two fifty, and a couple MTL 5541 barriers." The barriers come back backordered, about two weeks out. Watch how it handles it.
Try"Give me four stainless hundred psi gauges, four and a half inch face." Then change your mind on the quantity halfway through.
Push itAsk what the 3051 runs you. It won't say prices out loud. Pricing shows up on the written quote, on purpose. Then ask for Monel tubing. It doesn't stock it, and it says so instead of making something up.

Also behind the counter: block-and-bleed and needle valves, manifolds, pressure gauges, transmitters, thermocouples and RTDs, Swagelok fittings and stainless tubing, explosion-proof boxes and seal-offs, heat trace, instrument cable. Ask in plain language; part numbers optional.

Prefer your own numbers? Book a demo and bring a bid you sent last month. We'll show you what Axle builds from the same request.

The demo line is answered by AI, and calls are recorded and transcribed. If you share a callback number, you'll get one text with a link to your sample quote. Message and data rates may apply. Axle Supply is a fictional business used for demonstration. Quotes are sample documents and no order is placed. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How does the quoting know my prices?

Axle works from the system your inventory and pricing already live in. Onboarding starts from the exports you already have, like a QuickBooks inventory report, your rate sheets, or a folder of old quotes, so bids come off your own catalog and current pricing. No switching systems, no second catalog to keep in sync.

Who sets the price?

You do. Pricing comes from your price book and your people. Margin rules and approval thresholds are configured per customer, and Axle never invents a number: if it doesn't know a price, it asks.

Does anything go out without me seeing it?

Only if you want it to. Keep a person approving every bid before it sends, or set rules for what can go out automatically. Every quote and every version is logged either way.

How does it get better over time?

You upload the final you actually sent the customer, and Axle compares it to its own draft, line by line. Corrections queue for one-click human approval. It never changes pricing on its own.

Can Axle answer calls and dispatch work too?

Yes. Axle Call Answering picks up 24/7 in English and Spanish, captures the job, texts your team the details in seconds, and dispatches through the scheduling or field service software you already use.

How long does setup take?

About a week for quoting. We load your catalog and templates from the exports you already have and tune Axle on your past bids. No software for your crew to install.

What does Axle cost?

Plans start at $999 a month, scoped to your bid volume and which products you run. A thirty minute demo gets you an exact number.

Is Axle only for oilfield companies?

Oilfield service and supply is where Axle was built and where it knows the language best. It also runs for industrial service and supply businesses outside oil and gas. If you win work by getting bids out, it fits.

See it on your own bids.

We bring on companies a few at a time and set each one up personally. Book thirty minutes and bring a recent bid, or call the demo line and let Axle make its own case.
